Paper profiling newbie here...

My printer is a Canon IP8720. I just got a used ColorMunki Photo (looks like it is in good shape -- it even came with its original box). I downloaded the newest I1Studio software -- which seems to work, so far as I can tell.

However, my first profiling attempt -- using Canon's Pro Platinum paper -- yields a gamut significant  smaller than Canon's stock profile for this paper on my sort of printer.  Can this be accurate -- or is it possible I screwed somethiong up? (Suspecting this might be the case -- but who knows).
Not sure how to share the relevant .icc profile (if anyone wanted to look at it).
