Re: Japan high school girls have best scoop on m4/3 future

Wonderful images of the schoolchildren and a fascinating insight into school 'bags'.

I had a briefcase at school in the 70's and I bought a replacement in 1996 which I still have and use for work (well I did when I was actually travelling further than the flight of stairs in my home). Certainly not as ergonomic as a backpack but I don't put much weight in it so it's not so bad.

I do love the look of those Japanese 'backpacks'. As an aside, I have a fascination with Japanese kitchen knives, which, like the backpacks are built with ergonomics and a specific use in mind.

A further aside, it was tough being a stay at home Dad in the early 2000's, trying to take pictures of my young son at the playground and having mother's approach me and abuse me and threatening to call the police if I pointed a camera anywhere near their child. I would call out to my son about every minute not to get his attention but to prove to the mothers I was actually there with my son. My wife would ask if I had taken any pictures when she got home from work and I would invariably say no if the only place we went was the playground. A shame really!
