I would agree. The one particularly glaring feature of PF lenses is completely irrelevant to typical uses of such a lens.

Yet reading in the Canon forum has given me the impression that the fresnel lens is causing some on sensor PDAF focusing issues. Is this true?

i shot jet aircraft for a few hours with a 300mm nikon pf fresnel lens, the af was superb on it
