Unlike Nikon/Panasonic, Canon does a lot of things right in the FF mirrorless catchup game!

With R5/R6, new lenses and 1.4x and 2.0x extenders
Canon suddenly become almost the most capable FF mirroress system

  • ultra bright lenses => 50 f/1.2L, 85 f/1.2L [DS] / 28-70 f/2L
  • f/2.8 trinity => 15-35, 24-70,70-200 f/2.8L IS
  • Good value lesnes => 35 f/1.8 IS Macro, 85 f/1.8 IS Macro
  • Ultra portable => 600, 800 f/11, 24-105 f/4-7.1

Some rumored lenses are pretty amazing too

  • 100-500 f/4-5.7 => ultra portable
  • 35 f/1.2L, 70-135 f/2L => ultra bright lenses
  • 50 f/1.8 IS Macro => good value

I really hope Panasonic stops investing into bulky and expensive lenses like Olympus' Pro lens line up....

I would like to see more pancakes or ultra portable lenses from panasonic like

  • 20 f/1.7 III with ultra fast AF
  • 12 f/2, 14 f/2, 17.5 f/1.4, 25 f/2, 42.5 f/2,  pancake
  • ultra portable 8-20mm f/4
  • make 12-35 f/2.8 and 35-100 f/2.8 more portable
  • smaller 100-300 lens (if Tamron can release a ultra portable 28-200 f/2.8-5.6 lens)

FF Mirrorlesss => still too bulky and heavy
Some might consider getting a portable m43 as second system; so m43 should focus the investment into creating a portable, inexpensive yet capable system
