EF+MS+ES Setup - anything wrong with it?

So first with the X-T3 and now with the X-T4 I am inclined to choose the setting that automatically switches between Electric First Curtain Shutter (EFCS) then to Mechanical Shutter (MS) and then to Electron Shutter (ES) known as EF+MS+ES. The switch from EFCS to MS happens at a fixed 1/2000 and then from MS to EF at greater than 1/8000.

On Sony I first started using EFCS to eliminate shutter shock and tended to stick with it unless shooting above 1/1000. On Fuji they fixed the transition at 1/2000 (can they make it user programmable please?)

Having it do this switch of shutter type appears to be a really nice feature that I have not found in Sony or Canon so I appreciate it but do have a few questions.

a) Is 1/2000 the best place to switch over from EFCS to MS?

b) On Fuji is there any downside on using EFCS? Personally I haven't notice it but again I may not know what I should be looking for on a Fuji with an X-tran sensor.

c) Are there other alternative that others prefer?

The mechanical shutter is nice and quite so don't feel the need to use ES as I have done in some previous camera and I know both EFSC and MS give you the best quality.

Thought I would ask.
