Swap t7i for used 80d?

I noticed i was using my DSLR for wildlife, but nothing else for various reasons, so got myself a Fujifilm small xt30 for travel/hiking and what not! So i'm selling my wide angle/general lenses for Fuji travel kit. I'll keep Tamron 100-400, Sigma 105mm macro OS too.

Now that I have a small option, I thought i could get a proper DSLR for proper full outdoor wildlife/BiF days shooting. My t7i has no weather sealing, the viewfinder isn't great to me, no AFMA, and mainly - no direct controls at all, which now having my Fujifilm frustrates me to death. I appreciate the t7i is marketed for beginners with the guide modes and what not.

I can trade my t7i for an 80d for about £300 or so difference. I can make up that difference by selling my 17-50, 10-18 and 50mm f1.8 (lenses that i have covered with Fujifilm now). My DSLR will be for outdoor pursuits with my 100-400.

Has anyone made this upgrade and was it worth it, for the reasons above? I figured for my use case the 80d would be much better.

- bigger brighter VF

- weather sealed

- much more manual controls, such as drive button, custom functions, LCD, rear wheel. I want/NEED to avoid using menus completely if I can. I hate menus when out shooting

- bigger battery should be useful actually

- Tracking customisation options to really help depending on subject

- AFMA just in case

- 7 FPS vs 6 FPS isn't massive, but will help!

I just feel it has a lot more direct control, is more robust, and will make wildlife/outdoor days much more enjoyable.  Thoughts?
