Some will complain the G9 is a big body, and it is, but most of the m43 size and weight savings come from the lenses (FF gap is narrowing though) but the G9 is still the outright best handling body I have ever used, better than the GH5 for sure, better than any Sony ever made (seriously their ergonomics suck), better than the Z6/7, or the Canon RF offerings.

Did you have a chance to compare the G9 with the Sony A77II? Just a question.

really ? did you mean the Sony A7 II mean or A7rII or something like that

the one you mention is a 5 year old camera with Sony dropping that line whether this is official or not ?

Well actually, I use a a7 II at work, and while I still consider it a good value for a FF camera, for me personally, the body, button locations and their menu system just isn’t for me.

They’re great cameras in their own right, but for me, the hard corners, short grip, and tiny oddly placed buttons just made me never get comfortable with it like I have my Nikons or now the G9

The A7Riii and A7iii are light years ahead of the A7ii, but clearly behind Panasonic in Ergos. If you want reliable AF, it’s a tough act to follow. The menu system is tolerable, and once setup, it rivals anything out there, but it does take a while to learn and needs improvement. As a meat and potatoes type camera, it certainly delivers where it matters.
