Delay on evf of eos r is problem of camera, not lens.

Supposedly, with high speed display, which only works with RF lenses, there is no delay.  If true, that would be the only reason to switch.  The difference in length is not going to make a lot of difference.

Also af, because 100-400 mark ii focuses very Quickly.

Yes it does.  And it is perfect if not shooting bursts.
