Review DFA 85mm 1.4

First test I've seen on the new 85mm DFA.

Pentax Klub is a French site about Pentax/Ricoh products. Their testing is from a users point of view.

Refreshing to read if you can read French.

The conclusion reads:

Score 97/100
It's perfect in every way. Light vignetting in certain circumstances, high resistance to flare, controlled ACs despite the absence of dedicated Aero Bright processing, and quite exceptional image quality. These are the first points noted. But they're not the only ones. Thus, the rendering of reds and greens is exemplary even before any treatment. Which is often no small feat. As for the weight, as much outdoors we felt the 1. 3 kg, as much in the studio we didn't. Contrary to what one might think, the D FA ★ 85 f/1. 4 can be used in many situations. If it is very comfortable in studio photography, it is able to adapt to all outdoor situations.
The very high score , which makes total sense. Pentax (and Ricoh Imaging) has a new legendary lens. This is one of the best, if not the best, 85mm I've been able to use so far. The only point negative is the tariff. At almost €2,000, there may not be many buyers.

The Plus
Exceptional image quality
Control of optical imperfections
All Weather construction
The Minus Weight Price.

So looking good.
