24-200 for street (vs Tamron 35-150)

I have boosted this lens enthusiastically for months before getting it:

Now that I have it, and have shot street with it twice, I could not be more pleased.

For the last year the Tamron 35-150 has been my street lens when I needed to go long. Since the lockdown it has been my almost unique street lens, since I have a long history of shooting street with teles, and I've needed to keep my distance.

Here is a compilation of the photos taken with it that I've posted during the last year on my blog and in the street forum.
I instantly liked the 24-200. It is smoother to operate and more compact. It focuses more surely. And I am beginning to see something, as I learn to process the raws, that is more than just good resolution, though I am not smart enough to say what it is among resolution, contrast, clarity, tone gradients, 3Dness, etc. But it's specific quality of image has taken me by surprise. My Tamron is officially retired.

Here are some shots from the 24-200, with varying levels of raw processing, and without titles (note the lady with the bag that says "Emotional Baggage") to gauge its promise for street photography.  Among them, these are processed.  Note the texture of the letters on the sweatshirt.
