Re: It is simple really

There are people whom wants big camera, and people whom likes small and light ones, and people with different views on what a "just right" size is. But honestly, for a company like Panny, focus on small to mid for M43 and push big size to FF would makes more sense, so their product lines don't compete with each other.

They should keep the G series bigger size SLR styled, and concentrated to make their GX line of RF bodies smaller and lighter. A WR IBIS body that's below 400g would be nice, below 350g would be perfect for the compact side. M43 should not have anything above 600g, unless it's a Pro Grade Camcorder for making movies. The G line, the smaller GX line and maybe super compact GM line. Together with the L Mount, they would have 4 sizes from people to choose from. As for GH, maybe they should make them into camcorders instead...

This.

It's like the GX8/GX7 debate... There's a select few that favored the GX8 size, but the camera failed at market, while the GX7 series is on it's 3rd and hopefully soon 4th version.

But the solution is simple, make a GX8 sized L Mount camera, for those that want that size and handling.

Micro Four Thirds should NOT make large bodies, unless they are for specific use cases like Video. Heat dissipation, dual card slots, durability, etc, Not because it has better handling.

Also smaller bodies should have room for modulation. Grips, battery grips.

If you really want M43 to survive and the chance to compete in mirrorless, then you have to say goodbye to large bodies/lenses.
