Olympus cameras. Something to think about. Or why it is OK to buy one

Let's say in 2014 you bought a Samsung NX1.

Samsung then did something vastly worse than Olympus and shutdown everything with no promise of new lenses or cameras. (Olympus WILL release new lenses and may release new cameras AND Panasonic also makes M43 cameras and lenses).

So where would you be today? You'd have one of the better APSC cameras that shoots 4K video and have access to some nice F/2.8 zooms, a great 85/1.4 prime, and other lenses.

Its been 6 years, and NX1 is still a great camera. And guess what, the EM-1 mark II is still a very competitive camera today. (I know someone who shoots weddings with the NX1 still)

Its been 6 years, and you'd have a great camera.

It reminds me of a friend who drive a Saab turbo convertible. Anyone remember them? He loves his car and I think it is now almost 20 years old.
