It’s stupidly large. Larger than my Z7. Panasonic has always made some really excellently featured cameras and the G line started out blessedly compact. I loved my G1 and GH2. Now the G line is monstrous in size and is of zero interest for those of us who moved to m43 for size.

So improve the G9 by all means, but don't make it smaller!!! (At least not for me.)

+1

Ironic how subjective this can be! I am decidedly a 'weight-Natzi', but i prefer to save weight in my lenses rather than give up my G9... "U will have to pry it out of my cold/dead fingers", ha ha. I bought a GX9 and EM1ii to see if i could down-size, but nope, the G9 is so sweeeet I cannot.

My fav blogger, the Pro Kirk Tuck, has a lot to say about small bodies in general and the G9 in particular. He has shot everything out there, and shoots for $. (He does not support himself through his blog or seminars, and is not affiliated w/ any brand)

In the past 5 yrs he has migrated from Nikon FF through M4/3 to Sony and back again to M4/3, then went into Fuji all the way, and now back to Panasonic L-mount. Recently he picked up the GX8 and G9 as his walking gear.  (He never stopped extolling the G9... even when he no longer owned one)
