Re: Nikon lenses to round out FX kit

I went from a DX to FX on the Nikon D750.

I too used the older lens, but I rented the new Nikon Holy Trinity and Tamron Holy Trinity lens over time.

Id love to get the Tamron G2 Holy Trinity, but now these are my lens:

Wide:

Nikon 20-35 2.8 AF-D

Nikon 14mm 2.8 AF-D

Nikon 12-24 1.4G DX - it's basically the same as the 20-35 (a leftover from my DX)

Mid-Range

Nikon 35-70 2.8 AF-D (keeper - great lens - I'd keep it even after I get the Tamron 28-70 2.8 G2)

Nikon 24-85 3.5-4.5G ED VR (keeper - my around town or vacation lens)

90-300mm

Nikon 105mm 2.8G VR (will sell - my daughter likes Macro photography

Tamron 90mm 2.8 Di Macro 1:1 VC (keeper - I like this one better than the Nikon 105)

Nikon 70-210 4-5-6 AF-D (will sell)

Nikon 70-210 4.0 AF (keeper - SO much lighter than the 80-200)

Nikon 80-200 2.8 AF-D (2 ring version) (keeper - but could go when I get the Tamron 70/200 G2)

Nikon 70-300 VR G (will sell - I traded up from my old 75-300 AF push pull, but I find the the 200-300 range not so usable and I prefer the 70-210 F4)

Nikon 200mm F4 AI-S (keeper - maybe it's the low element count, but the color is great on this).

>300mm

I don't have any lens in this range yet --- is it worth getting any over a 1.4x teleconverter?

What I can see getting:

Voigtlander 58mm (I saw the Angry guy on YouTube)

Tamron Holy Trinity - maybe one day

Right now I am happy with what I have.

Regards,

Bo
