It is wait and see but love the loads of speculation here.

Now Panasonic started this with the G1, a cam I still have and never will part from. But where Olympus was only focussed on mFTs panasonic of course also has FF camera's now. So they are simply not as dedicated.

But to my mind there is a pro here too: what you develop for FF can be used many times in m43s too.

Another point is: the system is very mature with lots of lenses. They do not need to develop a whole lot at all here to have a full range of them. So to me they can come with a camera every year. A G10 in 2020, a GH6 in 2020, A G9markII in 2021, A GX10 in 2022 and a G120 in 2023. The development of many parts in camera's is at such a pace there is simply no need for a lot of innovation and the cams are so good there is little need from that angle also.
