Re: New Class Action for Pentax owners with aperture block issue

I dont know what to say,here is my story

-- hide signature --

long time ago, I got a good condition K-30 + 18-135mm from 2nd hand market for around 150 USD;

then after half year, it has the aperture block issue,

then I sold my 18-135mm lens for 150 USD later and give the broken K-30 to the buyer as gift.

---------

so I basically lose potiential re-sale value of my 2nd-hand k-30, even though I lost nothing in break even situation.

but the main point is, the quality issue prevent me recommend anyone getting the K-30, K-50, K-S1, K-S2

I also had K-50 for 1 year, K-01 for 4 year as well, no issue, but not sure the 2nd-hand buyer later on.

-------

it is a tough economy situation, I dont want this lawsuit hit pentax sale too hard, which may result delay of new product launch due to profit flow,

at the other side, it is also important to let them know the hidden issue of the product should be addressed, even though most pentaxian tends to solve the issue by themselves, like convert SDM to srewdrive for those DA 16-50, 50-135, or manually buy aperture block from ebay and do self repair.
