Violation of personal rights i could tolerate for a few months if its going to save your life.

Herd immunity would work if everybody who is vunerable were isolated with correct barrier prorcedures in place. Then everybody else could carry on as normal with the slogan "hug everybody today to send the corona away" As a ex nuclear worker i consider myself an expert on avoiding cross contamination.

Along with rights come responsibilities.  It is clear that there a a wide disparity in the fatality of the disease.

Deciding that you are in the low risk group does not absolve you of a responsibility to the society that gives you the rights.

"I'm young and healthy and at low risk" does not mean that you should be selfish and irresponsible. Even if you're not displaying symptoms you can  spread the disease.  A mask is a pain free way to minimize your impact.
