What may be an important color management issue

Hi,

Something I have discovered 'the hard way' that many web browsers and other tools ignore the display profile.

So, we can have a perfectly calibrated wide gamut display. But Chrome, just as an example' may ignore the display profile.

Photoshop or Lightroom take the display profile into account and send 'RGB' signals to the monitor coded for the monitor color space. But some application just send sRGB coordinates.

So, say Chrome may pass all tests, but output the wrong signals to the monitor.
Firefox seems to handle this correctly, but it may need extra setup.

Best regards

Erik
