Wildlife Photography? RF 100-500mm F4.5-7.1 L IS USM

I just read an extensive but also very interesting thread on here about the new RF lens being released and its capabilities, however, I could still use some help in deciding what route to take for upgrading my gear.

I currently have an EOS R and the canon 100-400 Mark 1. Awesome combination but I am looking to "upgrade." This would be to shoot wildlife photography!

The lenses I am between are

- 100-400 Mark 2 w/ 1.4 III

- Tamron 150-600 G2 (Better weather sealing than Sigma C)

- Canon 100-500 f/4.5-7.1L

I know that Canon glass is incredible and that the 100-400 mark 2 is an amazing lens. I am just wondering if maybe I should wait for the RF since it means not having to use the adapter?

I do have intentions of in the next year being able to invest in the 500 or 600 f/4. I know theyre heavy but that isn't a concern for me.

Suggestions? I appreciate any feedback!
