35mm macro - added value?

Hi fellow pentaxians,

K3ii shooter here. Just wondering what the added value of the 35mm Ltd macro would be. I’ve got the 20-40 Ltd and the 100mm macro, so both the 35mm FL and macro capacity is already covered, but not in the same lens. Looking for a wider FOV than the 100mm provides though. For environmental macro (say: mushroom *and* forest). Would the 35mm give that that? Or would the close-focus capability of the 20-40 be sufficient? Just tried it doubt with some flowers in a vase, but got no definitive insight.

So, what would in your opinion be on the use case for the 35mm macro, for general nature-oriented close-up?

Thanks,

Patrick
