GF 110: First landscape attempt

Everybody needs a starting point. Here is mine:

This is what I see every day behind my house. Nothing special. But somehow nice. Image taken in a hurry just some minutes ago. Some days ago I was involved in some thread and declared that the 110 is made for portraying only. Probably false. 
I never used a longer lens for landscape before. Mostly 28-35 with my old Spotmatics.

I always used hyperfocal settings. Stepped down as much as possible.

This doesn’t work with my new gear.

Here I focused on the trees in the middle of the image.

Thanks for any hint how focusing could be better done in this case.
