This would not be smart... many of us use Fuji exactly for this reason and have been here since the original X100 and X-Pro1. I can never understand you guys that want to take a unique camera brand and turn them into something not unique.

A successful Business tends not to turn away good existing customers the attract new. It is easier to sell an existing customer than bring in a new one.  The old “bird in the bush” thing.  Many, I’d say most bought into Fuji because in part because the “retro” bodies so why forsake that demographic?  That is not to say the H1 is not a good idea but dropping the XT or XPro for example for a more “modern” form factor or UI might end up losing more customers than it brings in.  The same thing probably goes for XTrans as there are plenty people that would be upset as they see  XTrans as a differentiator and would see no reason to stay with Fuji if it were “just another Bayer camera.”
