Very well expressed. The Black Trinity, Brian Duffy, David Bailey and Terence Donovan all played a bit part in popularizing the SLR and Olympus.

By the mid-60's , and possibly prior, the SLR and Leica were in common use by War corespondents/Photographers but not for Fashion, Product or Portraits.  There was also a non-Brit. by the name of Helmut Newton  .  Terry Donovan gave me a a used/Demo OM-1 in the 70's even though I was a Nikon shooter. Great camera.

We will have to see how it all plays out
