Repair tearing/corruption in video file?

Hello video experts! I captured a timelapse video on a gopro has some sort of corruption-like tearing in the output. Interestingly, the video plays fine in most players so the overall file is still seemingly in tact. The distortion is consistent in the same places in the video and is present throughout the entire thing. I'm wondering if there's any way to fix the artifacting or if I'm pretty much stuck with what I got. Screenshots of the tearing below:

Entire frame

Should look like bushes alongside a lake

Noticed this striped bar at the top of the video... like the video was just diagonally offset or something

Codecs for the vid (as per osx file info): Timecode, H.264. I am not very knowledgeable with video so let me know if there's any other info I can provide.
