Probably not. Goes back to the other thread about video. Olympus's weakness compared to Panasonic is in video. People still buy GH5 and G9 cameras for video. The freshly unveiled G100 is marketed as a vlogging camera much like the ZV-1. Fujifilm and Nikon course-corrected for video.

People will still do photography long into the future, but it's going to get tougher to convince us to upgrade our existing cameras especially if we're just doing it for fun. In other words, last camera syndrome.

In the long term the bigger demographic that will continue to buy camera systems are people who use these cameras for a profession and thus follow a path of progression and have a need to upgrade, and those who use these cameras to shoot video.
