Should I keep separate SD Cards for my mirrorless camera?

If you own the card, sure, fire away and do in-camera format.
However, if you HAD used that SD card on other brand camera, be aware those photos will or may not be accessible after the format.

That seems obvious.  I wouldn't format unless I was sure the card was already copied, regardless of where it came from and what camera it was going into.

Rather waste time explaining, just take couple of shots on your
Panasonic FZ-100. press ➤ (PLAYBACK) & observe

remove that SD card and insert into Canon 80D . . . press the ➤ & observe.
take couple and shots, press the ➤ & observe.
_ _ _
remove that SD card and insert on Canon 7D II . . . press the ➤ & observe.
take couple and shots, press the ➤ & observe.

Remove the SD card from Canon 7D II
Insert in Canon 80D, press ➤ (PLAYBACK) & observe
Remove the SD card from Canon 80D
Insert in Panasonic FZ-100. press ➤ (PLAYBACK) & observe

Repeat the process as you wish.

Nope, don't see the point in doing that.  I already know my workflow well enough.
