Hello guys. This is my first post.

I have a Nikon D5300, and I had two lenses, the one that came with the camera (Nikon 18-50) and I bought another one (Nikor 50-200). To avoid the deal of changing lenses I bought a Sigma 18-300 to have all the range covered.

When I take pictures with Nikor lenses they look sharp, and when I change the lens to Sigma they look blurry, the edges are not well defined.

I even bought the Sigma USB Dock to calibrate the lenses, but with all the numbers in the ruler being blurry I don't know what to do.

Please any suggestion. Thanks.

Like others mentioned, try Live View, bright light and way faster shutter speed, atleast 1/200. Also use timer/remote to trigger it.

Also go outdoors and try just regular pics at all the different distances, focal lengths, subjects keeping aperture wide open and use faster shutter speeds. You might get an idea of when the problem occurs.
