Re: Using 2 different camera systems

I've always been a single system user (Canon EF) till 2 years ago when I added a different system (Hasselblad MF) to my stable.

They both are DSLRs but they operate differently and the interfaces are night and day.

I have never found that to be an issue: I use them for very separate purposes and the photography I do with the MF rig is very "slow" and therefore I have time to find what I need (if needed) and I can re-shoot. Having said so I tend to use my cameras in manual mode and I use very few of the gimmicks they offer. Once I know how to set aperture, shutter, ISO, white balance, metering and AF then I know all I need to know.

I plan to retire my Canon EF DSLR in favor of a Canon R-series mirrorless when the announced (or soon to be) models will be available, so I plan to stay a dual system user for the foreseeable future
