Requesting x-t3 Firmware update for Film simulation and tone curves parity with x-t4 :D

...putting in my vote, lobby, petition, begging for a software processing update, even a paid one, to supply the X-t4 film sim and tone curve features to the x-t3.

Eterna Bleach Bypass filter

Classic Neg Filter

Color Chrome Effect Blue filter

Clarity adjustment added to all film simulations

Variable Grain Effect

Tint effect to monochrome images

Tone Curve update to Highlight and shadow adjustments

Multishot HDR

I'm a Canon shooter that was "fuji-curious" when I got the x-t2, however the x-t3 really changed how I shot with its fast processing, non computer tethered JPG output, simplicity of use with the physical dials. I used my canon for studio and strobe work, but my fuji is not far behind and its my predominant street camera with its fast, compact design and built in subjective film processing. I even use the included flash... you know,  me and three other people!

I use vintage glass an own no fuji lenses. So this body has added tremendously to my shooting. The software in the camera has contributed immensely to my enjoyment of its simplicity.

The above feature request share the qualities of the sensor and CPU and should be part of the fuji X software line with the cameras. Understanding that they are also legit upgrades to the functionality of the camera, it does merit a paid upgrade path. Canon did something similar when Canon Log was a $100 distinguishing video feature to the 5D line. Later Canon models included it for free as it became a standard feature. Like it or not, it is the canon way, but you had a choice.

I think the X-t4 can still distinguish itself from the x-t3, even with the above additions:

1) fold out screen is video friendly

2) Sensor based Image stabilization

3) RAW compression and Tiff 16 bit output

4) improved shutter life

5) faster FPS

6) faster 1080 FPS video.

7) Improved battery design and duration.

8) simplified button layout.

These predominate hardware features of the X-t4 offer it a legit upgrade path for those wanting IBIS and video friendlier features in the XT line, and distinguishes it as a beefier and video centric hardier addition to the XT line.

I would get the X-t4 but the LCD redesign, that the Canon R shares, I HATE. The x-t3 design is faster and more compact. Plus the X-t4 is bigger and the button simplification is a downer for me, i.e. Low an High ISO removal from ISO Dial requiring an "Inception Style" menu deep dive...c'mon! Plus I don't do video so to lose the metering mode to a video/photo toggle is also a downer for me..great for video enthusiast, but not me.

Chime in if you agree, I really want to get a discussion going.

Thanks for reading!
