Don't have X-T100 yet, hence my question
Checked on X-A5, latest FW. Exposure Compensation can not be assigned to any button or dial except the default EC dial. In manual mode this dial controls the shutter and I can;t find a way to control EC then.

So do you know if X-T100 supports it?

I just tried this on my X-T100. I was able to assign EC to the left dial, but iso did not change when I turned the dial. I had the camera in manual mode and iso was set to auto with a max value of 6400. I then switched to a program mode and the left dial did adjust EC by changing the shutter speed. It appears that while you can configure the leftmost dial for EC, it will not change iso when in manual mode with auto iso enabled.

Unrelated to ISO itself changing or not, while in manual mode with EC assigned to that left dial - upon turning the dial, does exposure (compensation value) change...?

From your response I would think not (as you say ISO did not change), but checking in case that ISO change was just _not shown_, where if exposure (compensation) was changed still, then the only thing that _will_ (eventually?) change is ISO (on shutter button half-press, or maybe only once the photo is taken).

I moved the dial a significant amount and took multiple photographs. The values in the EVF display did not change. Upon review, each photo showed the same ISO value and I didn't see any obvious change in exposure.

Understood, mentioning ISO not changing got me thinking, as seeing EC not working (in EVF or on LCD) should be enough to signal the assigned dial EC function not working in the first place (and no exposure compensation change further means no ISO change, either, but in that specific order).

Thanks for confirming.
