Canon RP AF setup and other issues

Hi Everyone,

Need some recommended strategies for setting up AF on Canon RP as I have challenges to quickly focus.

1) When the camera is in Servo mode, the camera prefers to focus on anything in the foreground that is moving. I have a constant battle to change focus point to people or other object making me miss the shot. Any quick way to toggle between servo and one shot?

2) I don't want the camera to focus on anything until I hit the AF-On button. I want a center focus point as default so I know where focus point will be when I pick the camera.

3) I like to move the focus points using the the touchscreen but this is again slow to move the focus. Is there any AF settings that will make it faster?

4) Battery seems to be running down very fast. I have two original canon batteries but they seem to be running out of juice. Is there any setting in the camera that is draining the battery when idle?

Best regards,

Jai
