Re: What do you NEED your X100 for?

It is interesting how you get attached to certain cameras but not others.  I have a new Canon RP that can do anything I need but I have no affection for it.  I have an old Canon 7D that has a great viewfinder and lots of well thought out controls.  I rarely use but cannot let go of it.

And then there is my x100S, which I use more than any other camera. I sent It to Fuji in NJ recently for a discounted cleaning and I find myself thinking silly things like will Fedex lose it?  will Fuji accidentally drop it?  Like an an anxious parent! It is scheduled to be home Wednesday.

The x100S goes lots of places, sometimes as my sole camera on a trip or to a small event I am shooting or as a fun alternative to have along when I am shooting with full frame equipment on a tripod for a preservation group with other volunteers.
But there is a colorful, modern new guy on the block and I see the OP has it too!  Nothing could be smaller or tougher than a Tough TG-6.   It may be known as an underwater camera but it takes pretty good pictures on land too, both raw and jpeg.  And it has a zoom!  I have even had some luck with monochrome.   But It has no viewfinder and no full manual controls so it is not in the same league as the x100 series.  But  I could it see it sharing the bag with the x100S on my next trip.
