Not sure about the G9, Haven't tried one extensively, but it seems the OLED panel is identical to those of the Canon and Nikon but with different pincushion optics.

well the G9 EVF has the option to be set at 120FPS

but can it keep the 120fps during CAF, specially with DFD going berserk ?

It's maybe even the same supplier who makes those 3 million dots OLED panels.

I would think so too . Epson if I had to guess

You make it sound like DFD is wildly flying around everywhere, with no regard whatsoever as to where the subject is...

On the G9, using AFC, to my eyes the so-called "wobble" looks more like the image is shimmering very slightly, almost as if there's a bit of heat distortion in the atmosphere. It does not interfere with achieving focus on the subject. And yes, I have my EVF set to 120fps refresh.

More of an issue than the "wobble" for me is VF blackout between frames when AFC with Live View is used. It takes some practice to smoothly pan the camera and anticipate where the subject will be when the blackout ends. This is not the case when the 20FPS frame rate is selected, as the EVF refreshes fast enough and without blackout to almost look like a continuous view; but the tradeoff there is potential rolling-shutter effects.

Examples of what the G9 can do using AFC can be seen here: https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/63905944
