Post Prod Technique used here?

Hi I'm new here this is the first thing I have posted, so apologies if this is the wrong place.

Nonetheless, I was wondering what the technique is used here, of course to some extent it appears to be a double exposure but the background remains consistent. Therefore is it a composited double exposure?

Really appreciate if anyone could go into detail! Thanks
