1. Not heard of any (consumer level) product that automatically blurs faces.

2. A man had a go at you for taking photos of him when you weren't. Blurring faces after the fact won't stop idiots from being idiots. He is still going to rave at you so you either need to develop a thicker skin or stop shooting in public.

3. Kind of pointless to photograph people in the street if you are going to then ruin the photo by blurring the people.

4. A photograph of a street (with or without people) is an artistic statement and in most places is protected as such. Again, if you are uncomfortable making that statement then probably best not to take the photo in the first place.

f/2.8 is a smaller number than f/22 in the same way that 100 is a smaller number than 20.
