Did anyone try the Tamron 85mm f/1.8 SP on the RP?

Yes, I don’t use the corrections because I only shoot raw, however I’m specifically interested in what happens with the Tamron lenses that show the “dark ring”. It’s always possible to correct distortion in the RAW converter.

Nothing happens to the RAW image. The strange circles are an effect of the vignetting correction which you won't need for framing, so why have it switched on anyway? Distortion corrections crop the image a little but are useful when lining up a wide-angle lens on a building. They wouldn't affect the raw data in the RAW file even if they are recorded. That's assuming the corrections apply to your lens in the first place. Traditionally, third party lenses lied about their identities (see https://www.lensrentals.com/blog/2012/08/canon-illumination-correction-and-third-party-lenses/, which probably hasn't been updated in the last eight years).
