Sharing due to the recent Samyang/Rokinon release in native RF mount...

I spent some time with the EF flavor, which isn't nearly as sharp, but has typical Samyang bokeh and color.

The pluses was cost, size, bokeh drawing, and color rendition. AF was good for what it was. I'm sure EOS R firmware 1.4 and newer would've been better as Eye-AF is a must with this lens, which did work, but didn't have continuous support at the time I played with this guy.

The minuses were sharpness wide open, metering had troubles (note the exposure comp applied, I had to use center weighted metering often, and still posted these quite a bit) and lack of correctional data even in Adobe Lightroom to this day. No corrections for lens applied, or even attempted.

The RF version just released should "cure" the sharpness being a mirrorless native mount design. Be more compact (I think, have to check on that), and may vignette less posing less of a problem for metering.
