I had an interest in photography even before I was a reprographic technician 40+ years ago. My first serious camera was a Microflex TLR followed by several SLR’s and then digital. I’ve had a couple of Pentax DSLR’s. The X-H1 will be my first Mirrorless camera.

In that case it's what I said. Keep things simple:

set image quality to RAW, Auto-ISO to ISO 12.800 max and shutter speed to 1/60s or 1/100s outdoors and in the second Auto-ISO bank to 1/15s for indoor shots. Shutter speed dial to Auto and choose the aperture on the lens like in the old days.

You can also play around with Fuji's film simulations if that's your thing.
