The weather resistance of the Oly is better than the Sony, which isn't as good as many other brands. I hike a lot in crap conditions with both Pentax and Oly cameras, and while I can't always swap out a lens, I can manage. And it's easier to carry primes than zooms. But it's tough compromise, and a considerable size differential in the case of the Sony vs Oly.
