Some flowers...

I trust that everyone is well in this time, unlike anything we've seen before. Life is returning to what can be called normal here in northeast Tennessee. Thankfully, not many people were infected here, only about 50 in the entire county of almost 160,000 people. My wife and I are well as are most of our new friends here. I wish our friends and family in New York fared better. We know of 20 people who were infected, three who died. our son got infected early on, before there was even a reported case in New York. He finally got through it after about six weeks

We planted a rose bush a year ago this past March. One of our Shar Peis had cancer and had to be put down. We buried his ashes where we planted the rose bush and it is growing like crazy. Right now there are over 40 roses blooming on it. Here are a few shots I took along a Daylilly growing nearby. Taken with SD1M and 150mm EX Macro (not the newer OS version).
