Which one is better?

Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro
The 24-70mm is attractive as I was looking for this focal length to complete my set all the way up to 600mm for Automotive/Motorsport photography but I've recently got more into my wildlife photography (thanks to the lockdown) and I've took an interest in Macro and photographing flowers & insects. As I'm completely new to this I thought I'd ask on here.
I can afford the 24-70mm next month but would have to wait for an extra for the 105mm. Is that wait worth it.
Thanks
It looks like that 24-70 only has 0.26x magnification. You might be able to fill the frame with an Iris or Daylily, but nothing smaller. That's okay if your interest is primarily flowers or subjects like mushrooms outdoors, but it's not enough magnification for insects.
It's a lot more versatile than the prime lens, but it's not macro.
