Friends,

I was wondering what is the most practical way to convert 35mm film to digital. I have several rolls of film from my high school photography course days I would like to convert to digital. It is not just a matter of curiosity to see what is on it. I already know what is there since I printed the sample sheets with small images of the corresponding photos with the film numbers. There are some photos of friends that have passed away that I would like to make available to the family but can only do so if these are in digital format.

Thanks.

If there are really only a few rolls, and you’ve no intention on taking any more, then the most practical way would be to find a lab that you trust to scan them onto a CD/DVD/Dropbox.

Overrank,

Thanks for your advice on this one.
