X100V Configuration Question?
1

Hey group,

Looking at the V for street shooting. Currently using a Pen-F with Zuiko 17mm, but it just doesn't feel right for me. My main system is an OMD EM1 Mark II and an EM10 Mark II as backup (The EM10 II feels much better for street, but the AF isn't up to snuff). All three cameras are set up the same in a pretty simple and straight forward manner.

I shoot aperature priority with matrix metering, single AF, half-press focus and reframe, front dial set to aperture, rear dial to exposure compensation, red movie button to ISO, AEL/AEF button set to spot metering (when needed)

My question is: can the X100V be set up in the same configuration?

Secondly, does anyone configure it in a similar manner? How does it work out for you?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Cheers

PS: And yes, I do recognize that this configuration misses out on the main retro design features of the X100s. But I want to minimize handling differences between systems. I have used a Sony RX 1R II and found switching to be problematic given the quick response time necessary for street shooting.
