Well 2 years ago this month I was up in Rocky Mountain National Park with my son in law shooting (with cameras) a herd of about 85 elk. My son in law is from Ohio and had never seen elk before and really got immersed in the scene.  I stayed near the road and captures a couple female (cow) elk as they crossed the road (smile).  The park is open now and maybe we can get up there in the next few weeks!

PS.  These were accidentally shot at low res on my SD1 Merrill, but they came out pretty good!
