Buying the X-T4 - but which kit lens

First of all thanks for your feedback. I really have serious doubts about taking this lug of a lens along for any kind of extended vacation like a week on a hot beach and some sightseeing. I think you are right about the primes.

So I'm thinking now - ok, let's do the 18-55 and then get well, at least ONE prime. The 23 f/2 or maybe f1.4 if it's not too heavy. I can see myself using a lens like that for a long part of a vacation considering the type of photography one usually does there. I'd probably be more inclined to go for a quality lens at the longer end, especially the 50-140/2.8 which I would use on outings where photography is a major purpose of the trip.

- My brain is distracted by the 16-80 which is more versatile than the 18-55, and of probably mostly similar optical quality. That focus wobble though...

Fast forward to around 13:30.

It's a known issue with this lens, it's not just this guy having a bad copy.
