Hello

Just a comment about HHHR and merging images in PhotoShop, as I am an owner of E-M1 iii having practiced such merging in Photoshop before buying the E-M1 iii

  • when you shoot hi-speed burst because you want to merge them later, you get 30 or 40 images and you fill your card with lot of garbage
  • you need super powered CPU, GPU and RAM and each merging will take 10 or 15mn of your time ; in practical, I could only merge 8 shots where E-M1 iii merges 16
  • the result is random, and you don't know when you shoot if it will works

So, if for you HHHR is important other than occasionally, the way to go is in body processing, not Photoshop

Thank you, this is fantastic information. I like the idea that an E-M1 II could basically mimic the HHHR feature of the E-M1 III, but I don't love that it comes at the cost of a lot more of your time. But hey, that's the trade off between the two!
