A SD9 image I took in 2007 at the Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada, north of Las Vegas. Image was processed in Camera Raw and Photoshop, directly from the raw file. Lens was the 50 mm F:2.8 macro.

A beautiful picture and a tribute to SD9 image quality. It 's also a proof that one doesn't need a superwide to shoot landscape.

Thanks for the nice comments Abbazz:  Very much appreciated!

PS.  For years while shooting film, one of my favorite lenses for landscape was 90 mm.  I think the window I was seeing through in those day corresponded to the 90 mm lens.  The 50 mm lens on the  SD9 was equivalent to 85 mm on a FF camera and worked well for me.

Cheers!
