The details at such a long FL is really good.

P900 have few minor issues. Slow buffer and only shoots in jpeg. The evf is average which is an important feature for a superzoom cameras. I doubt anyone can use the lcd screen at such a long focal length.

Maybe B700 is a better option since it shoots raw and it retains more details.

There isn't much B700 vs P900 comparison on the web! So I cant decide wich one to pick.

I'd love to hear from someone who have/had both.

There's no such thing as a "perfect" camera.

Instead of focusing on the weakness of the camera,

it's better to just use the camera to take beautiful pictures.

Since you have the FZ80, which is a nice compact-size superzoom.

Recommend for you to probably get the P950 mid-size camera.

But if you want the B700, which is also a compact-size camera.

Or, like you have mentioned, you could also consider the FZ1000.

Or, as you have also mentioned from the link, maybe the RX10.

However, both the FZ1000 & RX10 cameras are limited in the zoom range.

They are all good cameras to choose from, no need getting confused.

In my opinion, they are all "winners", just pick one that you are attracted to.

Hey, noticed your DPR name have an "808",

could be you're from the Hawaiian islands.

Well, here's a picture for you that I took.

P900 camera, sooc jpeg.
