Absolutely. Even compared to my 260/240 Toshiba cards it is a noticeable improvement.

Compared to your slower card, it will be a night and day difference.

Basically, it allows shooting indefinitely at 9 or 10 fps (forget which). Buffer clearing times will be a lot shorter as well.

If you will be shooting in bursts a lot, it's worth it.

That's all I use on my Olympus cameras unless I have back to back shoots, where I still have some SanDisks 300MB/sec and Lexar 2000X. I don't reuse my cards until I have three independent backups. I prefer the Sony due to the robust construction of the cards As long as I maintain ISO at 1600 or less I have just about an indefinite buffer at 10 fps.
