So if you put less pressure on the processor i.e shooting 4K at 100Mbps rather than 200Mbps, less heat will be generated. Is that correct? That's what I understood you to mean. I don't have the X100V so I can't check that but it would seem shooting at a lower bit rate may resolve heating issues.  If you really need to shoot 4K at 200Mbps for extended periods of time then maybe this camera is not the one to be looking at; the XT4 or Gh5 would be better. Personally, 4K at 200Mbps for clips of my holiday seems a bit more quality than I need. I have seen nice video (nice enough to me) shot on the X100F at 1080P at 36Mbps.
